I recently went to a networking event virtually that took place in Los Angeles. This networking event was for getting started in the field of technology and being ready for interviews. We did, throughout out the event get to see others questions in the chat and get our questions answered at the end. I learned more about the people that work in the tech industry. We were also given advice and informed about available resources. There were also other Codetalk students in attendance as well.
I feel I handled the virtual event well. Being online in a room full of a lot of people and standing out is a difficult task to achieve. The next event that I will attend will most likely be in person. Meetup.com is a good resource to find events, interviews, and other things happening in the community.
