UX

The websites for Time, BBC America, and YouTube look as though they were created in WordPress. WordPress is an open-source content management system where users can create websites. The user can build websites using the available templates, create designs, or add code.

The Time website is easy to navigate and reminds me of a WordPress website. The sections are broken down visually so the user can see the header, body, and footer. This layout looks like one I have used previously with the addition of a sidebar that has the most popular posts.

BBC America has elements on their website that are discussed in class. The header stands out and emphasizes a particular television show to inform their audience of its time and attract more viewers.

YouTube has the same layout as a website built on WordPress as well. The videos appear on the home page in a group of six, where users can select a video they are interested in. Clicking on videos navigates you to another page where you can then watch the video. There is also a comment section where users can interact.
